Design Project of Wastewater Treatment Plant in a City in Jiangsu of China

The project is a wastewater treatment plant expansion, covering area of 7051 m², with total investment of 31,969,300 rmb, new construction area of about 447 m², and total volume of new structures of about 9,134.8 m³. It is expected that the design scale of the wastewater treatment plant is 5000 m³/d, and the main construction content is civil engineering, process equipment, electrical automatic control, roads, greening and water supply and drainage works.

The water outlet quality indicators of the project design are according to the B standard of Jiangsu of China in the standard of Pollutant Discharge Standard for Urban Wastewater Treatment Plant (DB32/4440 -2022).

 

Service Achievements

  • The construction of the project is consistent with the local governments’ overall plan and is expected to retain a significant amount of pollutants annually.
  • The project provides great benefits to improve the quality of the regional water environment. The amount of pollutants discharged into the water body can be reduced by 721.25 tons of CODcr, 401.5 tons of BOD₅, 76.65 tons of NH3-N, 109.5 tons of TN, and 12.78 tons of TP per year.
  • The project makes the pollutants discharged into the rivers in the area decrease greatly, protects the local water environment, and helps to improve the investment environment and the living environment of the residents.
