The project is the overall development plan of the chemical industry park, which is positioned as coal chemical industry, salt chemical industry and fine chemical industry as the leading industries. The ecological industrial system consists of four high-end industries: fine chemicals, biomass chemicals, new chemical materials, and rare earth materials. In order to better develop the feasibility of site selection, scale and nature, avoid decision-making errors and reduce the damage to the regional ecological environment and resources, the park commissioned REC to carry out Environmental Impact Assessment consulting services.

- Investigate the production situation and ecological environment status quo of the occupied enterprises in the park, analyze the main ecological, environmental and resource constraints of the planning implementation, predict the impact of the planning implementation on the regional ecosystem and environmental quality, and analyze whether the planning implementation can satisfy the requirements of the red line of ecological protection, the bottom line of environmental quality, and the top line of resource utilization.
- With the goal of improving environmental quality and guaranteeing ecological safety, the planning EIA demonstrates the environmental rationality of the planned industrial positioning, development scale, industrial structure, layout, construction time sequence and environmental infrastructure, and puts forward optimization and adjustment suggestions to provide a basis for planning decision-making and environmental management in the process of planning implementation.
